Grayscale Investments, the world's largest digital currency asset manager, has hired an Invesco executive to head its exchange-traded fund (ETF) business. The move comes as Grayscale looks to potentially convert its flagship Bitcoin Trust into an ETF. The new hire, David LaValle, will serve as global head of ETFs at Grayscale, where he will be responsible for leading the firm's ETF business. LaValle previously worked at Invesco as a managing director and head of ETF capital markets and will bring his extensive experience in the ETF industry to Grayscale. The move is seen as a strategic step for Grayscale as it continues to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets.
